Missions
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. The Great Commission given to us by Jesus is a command to reach out to others with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Both to the people we are with on a regular basis and beyond our own lives to the world around us both near and far. In light of these scriptures we believe Newark is our Jerusalem. We have witnessed the power of Jesus in our lives and fellowship. We support our community by giving support and help to Care Net of Wayne County in Newark. Below is a link to their web page to follow them with us as we serve them together with the Lord. Link here; www.carenetofwaynecounty.com Judea and Samaria are those areas of our lives beyond our family and friends as we reach out to minister to other communities in our surrounding state. We continue to link together with Calvary Chapels in our area to minister together with them as the opportunity arises. Our Missions to the uttermost parts of the earth is through our missionary Matt Fantly. He serves as worship leader at Calvary Chapel Topola, Serbia.
